Mystery Box for Mitform Castings

A mai alkotásomat az egyik kedvenc stílusomban készítettem el a Mitform castingshoz. Természetesen steampunk :D Ezúttal egy mystery boxot csináltam.
Miután mindent felragasztottam, piros rozsda effekt pasztát is vittem fel pár helyre, amire vizet spricceltem, hogy kevésbé meghatározó legyen, de azért felfedezhető maradjon.
After gluing everything, I also applied the red rust effect paste to some areas where I sprayed water to make it less dominant but still discoverable.
Lindy’s Gang Moon Shadow misztet fújtam rá Golden Doubloons árnyalatban, ami szép arany csillogást kölcsönöz. A doboz tetején levő elemekre elvétve sárga rozsdaeffekt pasztát kentem.
Lindy’s Gang Autumn Sunset magical kollekciójából választottam Ponderosa Pines Olive és Tibetan Poppy Teal árnyalatot, hogy a rozsda hatás meleltt egy kis patina hatás is érvényesüljön, továbbá Buccaneer Bay Blue misztet fújtam rá, majd blue lagon metál szinű waxal egészítettem ki.
Then I sprayed Lindy’s gang moon shadow mist in the shades of Golden Doubloons, which lent it a beautiful golden sparkle effect. Sporadically I applied yellow rust paste to the items on top of the box.
From, the Lindy’s Gang Autumn Sunset magical collection I chose Ponderosa Pines Olive and Tibetan Poppy Teal shades to give it a little patina effect in addition to the rust effect, and I blew a Buccaneer Bay Blue mist on it and then complemented it with a blue lagoon metallic wax.
Rusty red matt waxot kentem a résekbe és az élekre, hogy jobban kihangsúlyozzam a felületet. Végül vintage gold waxot a pici csillogás érdekében.
Patina blue és green wax került a fém elemekre és a chipboarokra.
Végül egy kis fehér gessoval emeltem ki a részleteket.
Utolsó lépésként csillámpor és mikrogyöngyök kerültek rá.
I applied rusty red matte wax to the crevices and edges to better highlight the surface. I also used vintage gold wax for a little sparkle effect.
Patina blue and green wax were placed on the metal elements and chipboards.
Then, I highlighted all the details with a little white gesso.
As the last step, I used glitter and placed microbeads on it.

Today’s work was made in one of my favourite styles for Mitform Castings. Of course, it is steampunk. This time I made a mystery box.
Mdf alapú dobozt használtam, amire sörkartonból különböző méretű téglalapokat és négyzeteket ragasztottam fel, hogy befedje az oldalait. Az egészet lekentem fekete gessoval, majd paper textura pasztával stencileztem. Barna rozsda effekt pasztát kentem főként az éleire. A fém elemekre, chipboardra és a mould elemekre fekete gesso került.
I used an MDF-based box on which I glued rectangles and squares of different sizes out of a grey cardboard to cover the sides. I applied black gesso on it and then stencilled it with paper texture paste. I applied the brown rust effect paste mainly to the edges. Black gesso was applied on the metal elements, the chipboards, and the mould effects.
