Lindy’s April Challenge - Mixed Media Mandala

Hello :)

Új hónap, így új kihívás a Lindy’s-nél. Mint általában, most is ki kellett mozdulnom a komfortzónámból és elfelejteni a barna számos árnyalatát. :D Egy szivárvány színű alkotással készültem áprilisra.
Vastag kartonra tettem textúrált felületű alapkartont, amit linóhengerrel simítottam ki.
SnipArt nagy mandala chipboardot használtam fő elemként, amire miszteket fújtam az alábbi árnyalatokba: C'est la vie Cerise, Martian Magenta, UFO Yellow, Hottie Pattottie Hot Pink, Sassy Sapphire, Creme Brulee Cream, Cotton Candy Pink és Luscious Lime.

With the coming of a new month, there is a new challenge at Lindy’s as well. As usual, I moved out of my comfort zone now and I had to forget the many shades of brown. I made a rainbow-coloured creation for April.
I placed the base-cardboard with a textured surface on a thick cardboard, which I smoothed out with a linoleum roller.
I used the SnipArt large mandala chipboard as the main component, and I blew mists on it in the following shades: C'est la vie Cerise, Martian Magenta, UFO Yellow, Hottie Pattottie Hot Pink, Sassy Sapphire, Creme Brulee Cream, Cotton Candy Pink and Luscious Lime.





Majd a plusz csillogásért a Drop Dead Diva magical kollekcióból a színben azonos részekhez magical port szórtam. Mint pl Lilára a lilát, de a magical pornak köszönhetően lett egy kis ezüstös hatása.

As for the extra sparkle I used the magic powder from the Drop Dead Diva magic collection for the parts which have identical colour. For example, I used purple for purple, but thanks to the magical powder it had a slight silvery effect.



A Prima marketing Mouldokat festettem meg, először fehér gessoval, utána Flat magical porokkal. A virágokra ezen kívül fújtam még Starburst Jazzy Jivin' Purple és Moon Shadow Golden Doubloons miszteket. A nagy virágokat Gleaming Gold magicallal is meghintettem.

I painted the Prima marketing moulds, first with gesso then with Flat magical powders.
I also blew the Mysteries of Starburst Jazzy Jivin' Purple and Moon Shadow Golden Doubloons on the flowers. The bigger flowers were also bestrewed with a bit of Gleaming Gold magical.



Az álomfogós chiboardokra 2 féle domborítóport szórtam: Raspberry Lemonade és Cafe au Lait.
A tollakra pedig Cafe au Lait került. A kompozíció kialakításához Sizzix levél kivágatokat is használtam, most viszont sötét zöld papírból lett kivágva, és arra szórtam Merry-Go-Round Green domborítóport, így még jobban látszik a világos és sötét zöld kontrasztja😊
A központi elemre széleit Hibiscus Rose Orange dombiritoporral emeltem ki.
Tudjátok, hogy szeretem a szemcsés díszítőelemeket, de még magamhoz képest is sokat használtam erre az alkotásra...flitterek, üveggyöngyök, micro gyöngyök 2 méretben is és csillámporok is kerültek rá.
Utolsó lépésként bélyegzéssel egészítettem ki.

I applied 2 types of embossing powder on the dream catcher chipboard: Raspberry Lemonade and Cafe au Lait.
Cafe au Lait was used on the pens. To create the composition, I used Sizzix cut-outs as well, however, this time I cut them out from the dark green paper and I sprinkled some Merry-Go-Round Green embossing powder on it so the contrast between light and dark green is even more visible.
The central components were highlighted with Hibiscus Rose Orange embossing powder.
You all know I love granular decorations, but even for my standards, I used a lot for this work... sequins, glass beads, micro medications in 2 sizes and glitter powders were used decorating it.
As a final step, I complemented it with stamping.

Sziasztok! Végre megérkeztek hozzám az Ab Studio termékek. Már nagyon vártam, hogy kipróbáljam :) Főleg ezt az átlátszó alapot :) Megmaradtam a vintage vonalnál. A nagyobb tag alapra először Finnabair Graphite texture pasztával, majd ugyanarra Copper repesztőpasztával stencileztem. Prima marketing mouldokat használtam, amire fehér repesztőpaszta került és Lindys Stamp Gang Sandra Dee Sepia mist. Az alapra gézt tettem. Scrapniec chipboardokra mini Art Stone- okat ragasztottam és vintage gold waxot kentem. Ab studio in the past kollekciójából a tageket használtam és olyan papírt, amit kávéval és teával varázsoltam régivé. A bélyegzők közül ID-65 használtam. Pár Mitform Castings fogaskereket is belecsempésztem, amikre Lucky Emerald waxot tettem. A magyar webshopnál, ahol DT tag vagyok a jelenlegi kihívás a szív kategóriába tartozik, az idő rövidsége miatt más megkötés most nem volt. :) Arra gondoltam, hogy egy bővíthető naptárt készítek, ami később módosítható, mint egy mini bullet journal. Ti csináltatok már hasonló megoldással naptárt? The recent challenge by the hungarian webshop's design team I belong to, was the theme HEART. There weren't any other conditions now beacause of the shortness of time. So I decided to make an expandable calendar what I can turn later into a mini bullet journal. Hello! Október elseje, így hozom Nektek az új Lindy’s kihivásra készült alkotásom. Ezúttal meleg szürke, menta és szürkés zöld volt a moodboardon a repesztés melletti feltétel. It's the first of October, so I’m bringing you my new creation for Lindy's challenge. This time, warm grey, mint, and greyish green was the condition for the moodboard. Apunak hoztak a nyaralásról egy különleges sört, ahogy elfogyasztotta már le is nyúltam :D Kb rá két hétre már fel is használtam. 😊 They brought my dad a special beer back from a holiday, as soon as he drank it, I took the bottle. I used it in about two weeks. Első körben szivaccsal vittem fel fehér gessot, majd Finnabair Tissue papírt ragasztottam rá soft matte gélell. Kicsit tompítottam a papír színein és plusz textúrát adtam neki, ehhez a Fantasy Patina Pasztára esett a választásom, méghozzá a Cream árnyalatúra. Light pasztát is kentem rá, amibe az Industrial Chic magical kollekcióból a Steel Shimmer-t kevertem bele. Utána fehér repe

Vintage AJ- Art Daily Cafe

Sziasztok! Hi! Ezt az art journal oldalpárt az Art Daily Cafe januári kihívására készítettem. A téma a térkép volt, amit én a hét napjaival és az utazással kötöttem össze. I made this art journal page for the January challenge of Art Daily Cafe. The theme was MAP, which I bounded together with the days of the week and travelling. Az oldalt átlátszó gessoval kezeltem, amire Finnabair Manuscript stencilt használtam, a paszta amit felvittem rá 3D Fine Texture Powdert , Clear Crackle pasztát továbbá Mint és Dark Chocolate Impasto festékeket tartalmazott. Az ilyen "keverék" összeállításánál figyelni kell arra, hogy elég sűrű legyen, különben nem lesz szép a stencilezés. Minél több a folyékonyabb összetevő, annál több texture powder kell bele.
