Hello :)
Amikor kézhez kaptam az új termékeket, simogattam nézegettem és ez a csiga lett az egyik kedvencem az új kollekcióból. A kidolgozottsága és a felülete is fantasztikus, mint mindegyik Mitform Castings terméknek 😊 így mindenképp ezt akartam felhasználni a következő alkotásomhoz.
When I was handed the new products, I caressed them, and this snail became one of my favourites from the new collection. The detailing and the texture are fantastic, like all the Mitform Castings products. So, I definitely wanted to use this for my next creation.
Woodouts tag alapot választottam, amin egy textúrált felületet hoztam létre, először régi könyvlapokból, majd graphite és light paszta használatával. Szerettem volna elkülöníteni a chipboardokat, mintha a tenger mélyén lennének a csigák, ezért egy kisebb taget ragasztottam rá, ami alá befértek. Elvétve fehér repesztőpasztát is kentem rá. A chipbordokra Lindy’s Gang Carefree Verdigris domborítóport szórtam.
I chose a Woodouts tag base for this work to create a textured surface on, first I used old bookplates and then graphite and light paste. I wanted to separate the chipboards, like snails at the bottom of the sea, so I glued a smaller tag on top to fit underneath. I also applied white crackle paste scarcely. On the chipboards, I have poured Lindy's Gang Carefree Verdigris embossing powder.

Az új Finnabair mould elemeket választottam kiegészítésként,
amire Hazelnut, Rustic Brown és Blue - Gold akrilfesték került.
Az alapot Banff Blue és Poutine Gold Starburst Squirts-el
színeztem, majd a mould elemre is tettem egy kicsi Poutine
Goldot.
I chose to
use the new Finnabair mould elements to complement it, on which I applied
Hazelnut, Rustic Brown and Blue - Gold acrylic paint.
I coloured
the base with Banff Blue and Poutine Gold Starburst Squirts, then on the mould
elements I applied some Poutine Gold.
A Mitform termékek közül az 1-2 és 4 cm-es fogaskerekeket választottam, továbbá a csigákat és a hozzá teljesen passzoló virágos kollekció tulipánjait. 😊 Nem akartam semmilyen festékkel tompitani a felületét, ezért csak waxokat kentem rá. A Vintage Goldra és Old Whitera esett a választásom. Ezen túl az alapra és a mould elemekre került Rich Copper és Emerald wax is.
Középre egy Tim Holtz feliratot választottam az Idea- ology kollekcióból.
Végezetül szemcsés diszitőelemek és csillámpor került rá.
From the Mitform products, I chose the 1-2 and 4 cm gears, in addition to the snails and the tulips from the perfectly matching floral collection. I did not want to dull the surface with any paint, so I just applied waxes. I opted for the Vintage Gold and Old White. Besides these, I also used Rich Copper and Emerald wax on the base and mould elements.
In the middle, I chose a Tim Holtz inscription from the Idea- ology collection.
Finally, I used granular decorative elements and mica powder.
